Acupuncture

Acupuncture uses thin, solid, metallic needles to penetrate the skin, at specific acupuncture points throughout the body, the needle is often gently stimulated to activate the Qi in the channel of which the acupuncture point is located.

Your very first acupuncture appointment can be up to 60 minutes long. This initial visit gives you and Dr. Jenessa the chance to look over your overall health history, talk about your health problems, concerns, and expectations. A treatment plan will also be discussed. After the intake you will receive your first acupuncture treatment with Dr. Jenessa.

Follow up acupuncture appointments are 30 minutes. Additional time might be required if you and Dr. Jenessa choose to add other modalities such as cupping, Infrared, or add herbs into your treatment plan.

Electro Acupuncture

Electro-stimulation is performed to stimulate multiple points all at once. This is done to achieve optimal results in muscle-skeletal treatments such as pain management, muscle atrophy, stroke rehabilitation, etc. Also used in cosmetic acupuncture such as facial rejuvenation.

Auricular Acupuncture

Acupuncture performed on the ear, with special, small needles. Often used to treat young children, and quick on-the-go treatments. Very versatile, used heavily in the U.S. for addiction detoxification.

Facial Rejuvenation

Facial rejuvenation acupuncture is done to achieve cosmetic effects without surgery or botox. It is an extension of traditional acupuncture, to naturally make your skin look younger, smoother, and feel all-around healthier.
